FAQ

Q: Where is Down Yonder Farm?
A: We’re located at 811 Lipscomb Grove Ch. Rd., Hillsborough, NC. NOTE: Do not trust Google Map directions. Our driveway is ON Lipscomb Grove Church Rd, across the street and just west of the Baptist Church. There will be a sign at the road. Please drive slowly down our shared one-way gravel driveway, and follow signs for parking. We are open to guests during events or by appointment only.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: No pets allowed, sorry! Not even well-behaved ones (except registered service animals).

Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: Sure! However—please be aware that we are a farm property. All guests must stay within designated event areas, and your children may not wander. We will have a designated area with a few activities to keep them busy, but they are NOT allowed to wander. You are fully responsible for the whereabouts and well-being of your children at all times. Consider leaving them at home if they can’t follow farm rules.

Q: Will there be food/drinks/refreshments on site?
A: Please come prepared! We will have a couple of great food vendors, but items are available for purchase while supplies last. Please BYO water and snacks.

Q: What payments types will vendors accept?
A: This is up to each individual vendor. Most accept online payments and some may accept cash. BE WARNED that our internet is weak on parts of the farm. You may need to complete your purchase closer to the house wifi, and return to show proof of payment.

Q: What else should I bring?
A: Farm-appropriate footwear, cash or other ways to pay for your treasures, a picnic lunch! And again, don’t forget to bring water and snacks.

Q: What else is there to do in this neck of the woods?
A: If you’re making the drive from elsewhere, consider visiting Broken Spoke Farm, a mile away, for their incredible house-made softserve ice cream and great array of veggies. There’s also Double R Farms around the “corner” - they are still offering pick-your-own no-spray strawberries, and have pork and beef for sale. We’re also close to the Eno River State Park and the Little River Regional Park.
